Confidentiality, for example achieved through encrypted communication, is an important element in enforcing privacy on the Internet. This alone is not sufficient; so-called metadata continue to reveal personal information. The lecture addresses this weak point and, with the Tor network, introduces another puzzle piece that makes anonymous internet communication available to the public. In particular, the technical advantages of so-called Onion services are presented and discussed.
